Beaches are the ultimate getaway and escape. The view of the turquoise sea and blue sky, the sound of waves, and feel of the sand between the toes and sun on the skin, the swaying palm tree, lounges or hammocks… Aisa thinks that it’s the most relaxing & idyllic scene in the world! There is so much to do on a beach, yet the best part is you can also simply do nothing!

Boracay, Philippines | Aisa’s rating

Two famous beaches are White beach and Bulabog beach. White beach gets its name from the powdery white sand beach. It’s a lovely 4 kilometer stretch of white sand beaches. Puka beach is at the island’s northern end, where there are lots of puka shells. It’s 30 minutes away from White Beach by boat. Puka beach is less crowded and quieter.

Lombok, Thailand | Aisa’s rating

Lombok boasts beautiful, untouched beaches. Kuta beach is a magnificent stretch of powdery white sand and blue sea with rugged hills around it, and the sunrise and sunsets are simply spectacular! It’s not the same Kuta as in Bali though.

Maldives | Aisa’s rating

The beaches in Maldives are nothing but spectacular. One of the best beaches in Maldives is Sun Island in the South Ari Atoll of Nalaguraidhoo island. It’s 62 miles from the Maldives airport at male.  Sun Island is a real paradise with soft sand, sparkling turquoise lagoons and over water bungalows.

Phuket, Thailand | Aisa’s rating

Most beaches in Phuket are on the west coast, stretching some 45kms from Mai Khao beach in the north to Rawai in the South. The 3 main tourist beaches of Patong, Karon and Kata are in the southern half of the island. Patong is a wide and long beach, and the most popular one. Patong is full on tourism, plenty of accommodation and shopping, loads of restaurants and bars and a beach full of beach chairs and umbrellas. Comparing to Patong, Karon is less developed, clean and well looked after. Kata is more popular with younger people, and is a very scenic beach.

Goa, India | Aisa’s rating

There is a long and smooth coastline of 125 km and over 40 beaches in Goa. The famous Beaches in the north are Candolim Beach, Sinquerim Beach, Baga Beach, Bambolim Beach, Arambol Beach and Vagator Beach. In the South there are Benaulim Beach, Palolem Beach, Agonda Beach, Mobor & Cavelossim Beaches.

Palolem Beach is also known as Paradise Beach. It’s a idyllic beach with golden sand, warm turquoise water and bushy palm trees. It’s a fishing beach popular for dolphin cruise and fishing trips. It’s the most famour beach in Goa but can be overcrowded and commercialized. Arambol Beach is known for its rocky and sandy terrain. It’s also the place for wild parties. Agonda Beach is more serene. Watching the dolphin swimming in the sea is a daily ritual in Agonda.

Koh Samui, Thailand | Aisa’s rating

Chaweng and Lamai are the two best beaches on the east of the island. There are beaches in the north coast, not as spectacular but cheaper, where you can get a beach front bungalow for a good price.

Chaweng Beaches is the largest and most popular beach in northeast Samui. It’s approximately 7 km long with powdery white sand. It’s bordered by emerald-blue water and a coral reef. If you find Chaweng over-developed and crowded, Lamai beach is probably a better choice - it’s calmer and more peaceful.

Koh Phi Phi, Thailand | Aisa’s rating

The popular beaches & village in Phi Phi Don are Loh Dalum Bay, Laem Tong Beach, Long Beach, Maya Beach and Tonsai village. Long Beach is famous for it’s soft fine white sand. Maya Beach is sheltered by cliffs with exceptionally clear water. The whole bay is in fact a big reef.

Railay, Thailand | Aisa’s rating

There are four beaches in Railay: Phra Nang (or Phra Nang Cave beach), Railay West, Railay East and Tonsai. There are fine white sand beach with shallow water in Phra Nang of South Railay and west Railay. Phra Nang is the most popular beach. It has all the element of a perfect beach with picturesque limstone clieff, soft sand and clear shallow water. While West Railay is more popular with tourists, East Railay is fuller with local Thais. Tonsai is a quiter beach than other. The beaches in Railay are separated by short hikes through the jungle. The hike can be rigorous but inspiring, and you are completely isolated at each beach. Aisa watched one of the most amazing and orgasmic sunsets on the west beach!

Bali, Indonesia | Aisa’s rating

You will find both white sand and black volcano sand beaches in Bali. Beaches in the south tend to have white sand, where the tourism flourishes. The most well known beach is Kuta beach.

Borneo, Malaysia | Aisa’s rating

On the west coast of Borneo, Turtle Beach and Golden Beach are part of the Similajau National Park. Both beaches are turtle nesting grounds, within a larger nature reserve full of tropical wildlife, jungle streams, waterfalls and plenty of animal residents. The natural parks of Sarawak are the perfect place to enjoy an invigorating jungle trek, bird watching, or just relaxing on the many perfect beaches.

Sanya, China | Aisa’s rating

Yalong beach on Yalong bay is the most popular attraction. Yalong beach is gorgeous- blinding white sand, brilliant blue water, prompt and dedicated fruit drink service.

Tioman, Malaysia | Aisa’s rating

Tioman boasts long white sandy beaches. Juara is a very quite beach at the east coast. Air Batang (ABC among locals) is at the west coast.
